Light Graffiti - Spider Walk

'Light Graffiti' has been around for a few years now, and was recently used on adverts for 'TalkTalk' and the Ford Focus. I'm not sure of the exact technique, hundreds of photos/long exposure/adding the effects in with a computer, but I'd love to experiment more with digital media. Photography and Flash/After Effects is the kind of stuff that would really add to my portfolio, something that's clearly very print dominated. With the end of uni so close I'm going to have to rely on my portfolio for work, so the more varied the better!

Ian Stevenson

While doing some research for one of the "D&AD 2010 Student Awards" briefs, I found this animation illustrated by Ian Stevenson that was used by E4 to help showcase new music. I find it fits well with E4's image of being fun, quirky, youthful and creative. Definitely worth looking at Ian Stevenson's website here for more of his artwork. Really inspires me to sort out my animation skills!
